Burgess brought a love of cooking and BBQ to life by competing in competition BBQ contests. Wanting to share his food with others he started Celtic Chicken BBQ in 2020 as a mobile BBQ operation serving Greater Douglas County and the surrounding area.
Celtic Chicken has a unique flavor of BBQ. We smoke our meats with a combination of American and Celtic spices. As we call it BBQ with a Celtic flair, he cooks and serves in a kilt, and is a proud member of the Gunn Clan.
We provide a full menu of BBQ meats ( Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chopped Chicken, Hot Links ) with occasional specials of Ribs and Smoked Chicken Wings. We offer 6 different BBQ sauces. Regular, Bourbon, Cinnamon, Teriyaki, Carolina, Alabama White.
Our sides are Baked Beans, Coleslaw, Mac& Cheese. We also offer desserts of Mini Donuts and Bread Pudding. We also have a full Celtic menu consisting of Irish Stew, Shepards Pie (Lamb), Corned Beef, Bangers & Mash and Scotch Eggs.
